SAIN Music are Wales’ leading record company and have recently joined hands with ZYX/NETFX to release a series with the best of their 40 years’ existence.

This is the beginning of a premium selection of works reflecting the wide spectrum of Welsh tradition of music in all genres : folk, classical, Pop and Rock. The series will present among other things the greatest hits of prestigious names. One of them is
RHYS MEIRION who used to work as a teacher before making a career in music. He has achieved international fame at the opera in Europe, USA and Asia. Together with his friend and partner BRYN TERFEL, he has also performed at the Royal Albert Hall and for the BBC.

“ULTIMATE COLLECTION” is a CD with a huge tracklisting containing the best of his 3 solo albums, going from opera arias to solo tracks taken from the Celtic tradition but bestowed with new arrangements – a convincing and emotion-pervaded performance from the part of this brilliant singer.
